The Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum returns to put on their popular exhibition during the 2026 Seafair event on Lake Washington. Seventy-five years ago, the first ever hydroplane race in Seattle took place with the hometown boat Slo-mo-shun V winning the Gold Cup and beginning a 75 year tradition on the shores of Lake Washington.
